New class added: Malware Dynamic Analysis
Furthering our classes in the malware analysis domain, we have now posted Veronica Kovah’s dynamic analysis class. This is normally the material taught to people starting out in malware analysis, and it has no background prerequisites. We focused on static analysis to start with because that material is less commonly available. But we think Veronica’s class captures a lot of the dynamic analysis knowledge covered in other classes, with ample lab time. (The class will probably be taught as a 3 day class next year, so that all the lab material can be covered.)
We’re pretty happy about now having 14(!) days worth of high quality malware analysis related material hosted at the site (with more to come!). Students can take paid classes costing thousands of dollars to try and cram information into a handful of days, or they can take cheaper classes from our instructors and/or go through our public material at their own pace, with everything available for review later incase something is forgotten. We’re not a for-profit company, we’re a for-learning collective. We think we offer a better learning experience, so that we can help develop deeper skilled defenders.
You can find the class materials on the main class page:
